The Dayliff DSD 3/13 is a submersible multistage centrifugal pump engineered for dependable water extraction from boreholes and wells in domestic and small-scale commercial settings. Rated at 0.75kW (1HP), it delivers greater pumping capacity than the entry-level DSD 3/7, making it well-suited for homes with higher water demand or deeper installations up to 80m.
Construction combines AISI 304 stainless steel for the pump housing, shaft, and shaft coupling with cast iron delivery and suction chambers, and polycarbonate plastic impellers and diffusers – delivering strong corrosion resistance alongside excellent sand tolerance and long operational life. The unit ships ready-to-install with a 30m submersible cable and a dedicated control box housing the capacitor and electrical overload protection.
The motor is a sealed, liquid-cooled 2-pole asynchronous squirrel-cage type, operating at 2,850 RPM on a standard single-phase 240V supply. For added protection against dry running, motor overload, and power supply irregularities, pairing with a Dayliff SCM/SCT electronic pump controller is strongly recommended.
